Langholm
The town of Langholm and its surrounding area offers many activities and boasts lots of breathtaking scenery hence the reason why outside persuits such as walking, fishing, golfing etc are amoung the most popular activites for visitors. There is also the Riever Trail, a 50 mile round trip through the hills and valleys to the Castles and Places where the famous Border Rievers once lived, fought and rode on horseback. The Armstrong Museem is part of this trail. The Tibetian Samye Ling Monestry is also within easy reach.
