Open to both residents & non-residents alike, the resturant and facilities at Eskdale Hotel, Langholm offer an ideal venue for tasty meals & snacks, weddings & parties, business meetings or simply as an escape for a relaxing cup of tea or coffee.
Cocktail Bar, Library & Lounge Bar
Open all day, with relaxing spaces to sit and enjoy a quiet drink from our extensive range of beers, wines and spirits, or choose coffee or tea. We also offer a delicious great value bar and snack menus for lunch and our popular traditional afternoon tea, with a selection of tasty fresh sandwiches, cream scones and home bakes and a choice of speciality teas or coffee.
To the rear of the building we offer an inviting south facing outdoor decked beer garden during the summer months where dogs are welcome.
The Dining Room
Accommodating from 30 – 90 guests and decorated in rich warm reds and deep aubergine colours, this great room can be offered for private dining, meetings and events. The Dining Room is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a romantic meal or celebrate that special family occasion.
Menus
Served throughout the public rooms, our menus offer a whole range of home cooked traditional and contemporary dishes; choose from either our great value set menu or our full A La Carte.
To give you a flavour of the regularly updated seasonal menu; Choose delicious Scottish Smoked Salmon or perhaps Crumbed Haggis Tweeds served with homemade red onion marmalade, followed by our extremely popular hand battered Scottish Haddock, served of course with chips.
Alternatively, you could choose wholesome vegetarian option like Mushroom, Cranberry & Brie Wellington followed by a choice of freshly prepared desserts or fine Scottish Cheeses. For lunch on Sundays we offer a great value, two or three course Sunday Roast menu.
Meetings, Functions & Events
For weddings, meetings and events our fully air conditioned function room can accommodate up to 100 guests; being a mere 15 miles from Gretna Green the picturesque town of Langholm is an ideal location away from the commercial hubbub. The Eskdale Hotel provides a comfortable relaxing venue for your reception and/or for guest accommodation on your very special day.
With a range of menus and drinks packages which can be tailored to suit your requirements and budget. Providing private meeting facilities inclusive of projector and screen, our town centre location as well as private parking to the rear of the hotel makes the Eskdale Hotel the perfect venue for your meeting, event or special occasion.

No Lunch Menu served Mon to Thu from 18th September 2024 to Easter 2025.
Dinner Service as normal Mon to Sun throughout the year.
